"Young Builders Program from Venezuela"

“Young Builders Program from Venezuela" is created to train in the field of construction and support entrepreneurs through workshops for micro entrepreneurs, favoring individual entrepreneurship of young unemployed household heads aged between 17 and 28 years in Los Guayos. This would optimize the skilled labor and allow them to enter in the labor field with a certification from Jose Antonio Páez University. This program in turn would generate a socio-economic impact not only for the participants to receive training and access to employment, but more than 280 people averaging their families. Additionally, a seed capital will be granted for outstanding business models, they in turn would generate between 1 or 3 more working places. Without the benefit in improving social infrastructure in Los Guayos where participants will practice what they have learned.

For these reasons, the first cohort of our program in the area of entrepreneurship was held on Saturday, September 18; where we had the mentoring and academic excellence of the Jose Antonio Páez University which is leading the progress of great importance issues for the development and good management of the entrepreneurship participants.

We have 26 participants and a variety of entrepreneurship in different areas, they convey their satisfaction through the incalculable value that is providing knowledge and the support that Prato Group Foundation is giving to empower them with tools in order to have a sustainable business over time.

For the passion that drives us to create such opportunities for growth and progress of our country, we continue establishing partnerships and links with people and institutions that want to create a distinct ecosystem that allows us to have greater potential for improvement.

A responsible perspective toward society

In September 2014, the Board of Prato Group Directors decided to create a foundation as an action strategy to channel its ongoing commitment to the development of high Corporate Social Responsibility programs.

The foundation seeks to address the systematic, gradual and progressive development of activities and programs focusing on its core purpose: academic excellence and social inclusion.

Prato Group Foundation is activating alternative programs such as: voluntary work that involves both, employees and external specialists; cooperative partnerships with public and private social organizations that support and promote the implementation of an efficient plan for the development of educational, cultural, scientific, sports and entrepreneurial action projects that have a positive impact in the short, medium and long term on society.

Leadership, responsibility and vision of Prato Group as well as the recognition of its ethical performance for many years as a conciliatory body to achieve a balance between the construction business and the community expectations on this sector, it has generated a significant response of acceptance to its initiative by other entrepreneurs who have shown interest and commitment to support and ensure the success and sustainability of this initiative.

Our great mission is to raise the education quality of benefited students through a process of continuous development to strengthen human values and foster institutional growth, fulfilling social responsibility to serve and assist in the advancement of education and other organizations of social content. Therefore, we comply with the ethical and social responsibilities to the community.

• - To respect human rights and uphold academic conditions, business organizations, business, worthy artistic and sports activities that promote human development in the social environment.
• - To ensure the foundation continuity to achieve a reasonable growth.
• - To respect the environment avoiding as much as possible any contamination, reducing the generation of waste and rationalizing the use of natural and energy resources.
• - To strictly comply with all laws, regulations, rules and promote good practices, respecting the legitimate contracts and acquired commitments.
• - To maintain and promote business ethics and fight against corruption.
• - To have a positive impact on the beneficiaries, local communities and the rest of society where we execute our actions and programs.
• - Enhance the possibilities and opportunities of the community where the company is established, promoting education, values and quality of life.
• - Prato Group Foundation will make contributions in those areas, provided they are geared to social needs. As well as; it will promote and celebrate acts or events of social and charitable nature, in a most convenient form for fundraising and other donations, so that it can implement its plans and programs.
