The first touristic medicine project in Dominican Republic
International Medical Group Punta Cana, is the brand that our specialized medical tourism project will carry out, where tourism services and qualified medical care come together to provide quality care and service through a large hospital infrastructure in the specialties of bariatric surgery, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, cosmetic dentistry and orthopedics.
IMG is a Medical Tourism Association member with a Certified Medical Tourism Professional staff. IMG has been distinguished as the first touristic medicine project by the Dominican Republic government.
This will be built in stages, in an area of 5000 m2, and it will have the following services in its early stage: medical offices, laboratory, imaging center, emergency, ICU, surgery, dental clinic, ophthalmology, pharmacy, physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
The project was designed in accordance with the International Joint Commission, Canada Accreditation and the Dominican Public Health Ministry standards, using tropical elements of the area such as wood, stone, vegetation and color which will be reflected both in its external and internal spaces. The user will be able to recover while interacting with the relaxed atmosphere of the eastern region of the Caribbean country.
