First Cohort “Young Builders Program from Venezuela”
Last November 26, at the Auditorium of José Antonio Páez University, Prato Group Foundation conducted the certification of the first cohort of "self-management for micro-entrepreneurs" which is under the framework of “Young Builders Program from Venezuela” essential pillar of the foundation.
It was attended by a valuable jury represented by Dr. Vicente Lozano - Director General of the BOD, Mrs. Angela Hernandez - UJAP Vice Chancellor, Mrs. Laura Luvensse - CEUJAP Representative, Economist Isabel Talavera - FUNDEP President, Mr. Rafael Medina -. Indeguayo President, Mr. Eugenio Prato - Prato Group Marketing Manager Zone 1, Mr. Saul Campanella. - Entrepreneur, Mr. Hugo Ocando – Entrepreneur.
The event began with words of Mr. Jorge Serrano, President of the Prato Group Foundation, and then continue with the presentations of the projects of entrepreneurs. They were evaluated by the jury who had the difficult task of selecting a winner to give the seed capital, and also, the Extension Center of the José Antonio Páez University CEUJAP, which would give two scholarships for the skill Improvement for 1st and 2nd place.
Once finished the presentations, the winner of the 1st place was the entrepreneurial project of Mr. Julio Arevalo on behalf of Inversiones JJ Adonay C.A. In this way, we were able to close this great event with the words of Mrs. Angela Hernandez, UJAP Vice Chancellor, and Mr. Aníbal Dose, Mayor of Los Guayos Municipality, and with the great satisfaction of completing this first pilot that is, for now, the first founded rock in the vision of Prato Group Foundation.
