Working for a Sustainable World
Since last October, Pratocorp S.A. member of Prato Group company, is a member of Panama Green Building Council; a non-profit (NGO) organization, whose mission is to promote sustainability in the way communities are conceived and buildings designed, constructed and operated; whose members seek to combine the efforts of different countries in the region aimed at the transformation of the construction market towards sustainability, taking into account the needs and specific conditions of the Central American and Caribbean region.
It was created with the vision of promoting the sustainable development in Central America and the Caribbean and is part of World Green Building Council, which is a global union of national councils around the world, making it the largest international organization influencing the green building market. Their action steps are the dissemination and awareness through technical conferences, events and meetings; the development of professional skills with Leed Green Associate training seminars, advice on technical projects for LEED certification and promotion of sustainable policies.
Prato Group in achieving its goal of becoming a sustainable company and designing projects under LEED standards, it has decided to join this organization not only to promote and motivate us to be a green builder, but also to update us on the latest trends and how to achieve it.
